Jayapura Regency Government through the Department of Culture and tourism continue to fix the attractions in the area. According to Jotham, almost all of them are being developed and some of them have received attention from both domestic and foreign tourists, such as the Tourism Village and Kalkote Tablanusu. "We also received help from the Central Government for the management of tourism, as this year's two villages namely Kampung Tour Tablanusu and Kalkote received funding through the PNPM Mandiri," he said.
Jotham said, according to the Government's vision of making the City of Jayapura Sentani as a destination, then the local government mengenjot management of tourism potential.
Moreover, Jayapura regency currently has known through the Lake Sentani Festival (FDS) which has been held twice ie every 19 and June 23, 2010.
